Single-cycle polysynth
Murmur8
Murmur8 plays a single cycle of a waveform. Reshape it with sliders or draw it by hand, and it drifts on its own if you let it. A flock of starlings follows the wave across the sky.
What it does
One cycle of a wave, and what you do with it
01 A new wave, and 32 back Every sound starts as a new single-cycle wave, with the settings kept. The last 32 stay in the history.
02 Draw the wave Drag the points of the wave, or scribble a new line across the stage.
03 Four sounds, blended Superposition stores up to four sounds and blends the wave and the settings between them.
A square pad with a different stored sound in each corner, A to D, each drawn as its own wave. A puck near corner A pulls hardest on A, so the wave you hear on the right is mostly A with a little of the others. A B C D wave and settings, blended by the puck what you hear four stored sounds
04 Drone under a clock sky Drone holds up to four voices, each with a wave of its own. The sky can follow the clock where you are.
