Sounds from the banks come back when you reopen Canvas. Files and recordings don't. A file can be up to 10 min long: Canvas keeps the first 3 min, in mono. A mic take lasts up to 60 s, and the canvas pauses while you record. Resample records the canvas's own output.

How the pads affect each other.Mode picks how they play off each other (keys 1–4).Loops, in phase mode, can sync so re-captures land on bar lines.Blur scales every pad's spray.Interplay is how strongly nearby pads affect each other.Pace sets the speed of breathing and phasing.Drift is how often pads re-capture a new moment.Focus is how far the listener hears.Transpose moves every pad's note together.Tap a name to lock it against scatter.

Slow modulators for any sound or fx control. Three to start, up to six.On / off switches one. Off keeps its settings.Tap the shape to change the wave. Tap → to choose what it moves.Send one to the listener's x or y and the listener wanders.Sync locks the rate to the bpm.Fold bounces off the ends; clamp stops there.+ add a mod adds one, ✕ takes one away. Three effects that every pad shares.Each pad sets its own sends to them, on its mix page.Tape is a delay with wow and flutter.Hall is a reverb. Shimmer feeds an octave up back into it.Far send adds more hall to pads far from the listener.Cloud scatters grains of what you send, some an octave or a fifth off.Return sets how loud each effect comes back.

The whole canvas ages on one clock, like old tape.Age shows how far it has got. Drag it back to make it younger.Play and pause run the clock.Restore starts again on new tape.Worn in is how long a fragile pad takes to wear out. Sync counts it in bars.Intensity is how hard the wear bites. 0 keeps it clean.Fragility sets how fast each pad ages.
